for me in SoCal (He's set up about 30 sets of the 4.10s) and is a high performance differential (only) shop about the Quaife LSD, when Randy first started looking into the idea. His comments were they work well at the strip (the main advantage over stock is they are virtually indestructable and don't wear out like our stock ones, and have a close to 50/50 torque bias. I've replaced 3 diffs. over the last 7 years (because the LSD started going away). He stated it was his opinion that they actually shine at the track (with turns). Like you, I don't know enough about them first hand, and have to rely on knowlegdable second hand opinions. So here we are with two very competent, experienced guys having differing opinions about something they both have been exposed to. I do have a few friends (well actually I don't have any friends, they are people I know) that use the Quaife on their 280 ZXTs for both drag and road racing and are extremely happy with the way they perform. Take care, Mark
